Young Indians are Taking The Less-Travelled Career Paths

Gone are those days when Indian students were forced to become a doctor, an engineer, a CA or at the least a Government official. Roughly about 55 lakhs students graduate every year in India and even though majority of them aim for stable jobs in Government and private sectors, an increasing percentage of the graduating students are choosing off-beat career paths which they think suit their talents, preferences and life goals.

Here are a few not-so-common career choices Indians are making:

Rural Studies – It's said that India lives in its villages and studying rural culture and making it a career is a lucrative choice for today's willing youths. Spa Management - Spa and Massage therapy is a big industry in the west; however in India, it's still at its primary stage. With the growing stress in common men's life along with increasing buying power, Indians are going to Spas and Parlors more than ever before. If you are someone who likes to pamper people and earn handsome money by doing it then this is your choice!
