Why Home is the best place to celebrate Valentine’s Day?

Love is around the corner!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and coming with it the usual sweet tensions like ‘where to eat?’ ‘What to do?’ ‘Flowers or chocolates?’ etc. It becomes even more difficult when you want to impress a loved one! This time around, just be at ease as we talk about awesome ways to celebrate lover’s day at your own personal space, your home…

Make your home your love den

Over crowded restaurants, selfie-crazy fellow love birds, overpriced candle light dinner, mediocre food and bad hangover next morning – if you want to avoid all of these, make your home your go-to place and enjoy in style. Here are a few tips :

Make room for flowers.. a lot of them in fact! And why just red roses, you can have Lilies and Tulips. Think about innovative and lovely arrangements to set the mood right.

Candles with chalky finish paint and glitter will make your home a fairyland. There is nothing more romantic than a candle light room.

Dress for the occasion. You may be dining at home, but that's no excuse to wear old shorts and slippers. Choose the colors of love like rose red, baby pink or think differently and go by your instinct and select the colors that suit you the best.

When you are planning a romantic evening, you can’t ignore the poison! Raise a glass to love. Start the evening with your favorite tipple, may be champagne or a fancy cocktail. What about surprising your sweetheart with a new cocktail containing his/her favorite alcohol? It will surely set the mood right.

As for dinner, it's entirely up to you whether you'd like to prepare an exotic meal or you want to keep it casual and cozy. You can try baking heart-shaped cookies or cakes for that extra fun. Just plan it in advance so that you don’t have to spend a sweaty evening in the kitchen.

Do up your home

You may not go for a complete makeover for your home on Valentine’s Day but you can certainly add glamour and glitz to your interior by bringing new cushion covers, carpets, tablecloths and curtains. You need to ensure that you choose the right fabrics so that it breaks the monotony and brings celebratory a look.

Let your imagination run wild and decorate your home in innovative manners. You can think of putting a photo frame with nice art or message in it or you can go for a mood-lighting set-up to surprise your partner.

Most importantly, don’t forget the music! Load your system with these numbers - "Sweet Caroline”, “You're All I Need to Get By", "Saving All My Love For You", "We Belong" for sure.

To end your perfect Valentine's Day evening at home, turn up the music and try Jazz! Celebrate Valentine’s Day just don’t forget that love is not meant to be given and received just on one day.
